Gigabit Ethernet card beyond E3000/Ultra II yet? (http://www.sun.com/products-n-solutions/hw/net
Basically Sun supports the Ex000 platforms with an Sbus Gigabit ethernet
card now...I recieved a response from my local Sun SE that the cpu
requirement can be as much as a couple of 250HMz CPU's to drive the
thing at full throttle...cheers...the responses are captured below:
