gated for Sol.2.5
Basically, Solaris 2.5 doesn't include the gated program.
If you have two interfaces for ethernet, when the system boots
will automatically boot as a router using both RIP
via in.routed and RDISC via in.rdisc.
If you have not setup a default gateway on the system, when Solaris boots up,
one of things that it does is detect the number of network interface cards on
the system. If it detects more then two (including the loopback interface)
it automatically turns on IP forwarding, and starts up in.routed and in.rdisc.
This should get the machine to act as a "gateway" between the two subnets.
If you need other protocols you will have to download gated from
http://www.gated.merit.edu/research.and.development/gated
You also need to set hostname.leX for each interface....
