Yesterday, I asked if there would still be a separate version

of SunOS version, PSR A, for the SPARCservers. I received many

responses. The majority said that the support for the SPARCservers

is part of Sun-4 SunOS 4.1.1. That's good news. But there were

a couple people who claimed that there was one set of tapes that

supported Sun-4s, SPARCs, and SPARCservers. I've included excerpts

from those messages after the list of people who responded. I'm

sure I've missed a few people but I had to stop collecting info.

If I remember correctly, there will be one tape for all

sun 4's (psr_a, sparcstation, etc.). So it will support

all the sun 4's, but you only have one install tape.

The rumor is a fact. We just got a 4/470 with 4.1.1 and

also a SS1+ with 4.1.1

Same tapes...
