ps doesn't work anymore on SS1000 under Solaris2.3

I got serveral responses regarding my problem:

"ps" blocks indefinitely on a SparcServer 1000 running Solaris2.3

The file /dev/bd.off was symlinked to "." which causes ps to block.

Removing this file and "ln -s /dev/term/b /dev/bd.off" was the

solution.
