mandatory patches for Solaris 2.3, SunOS 5.3
I have had 47 requests so far for the "Solaris 2.3 Patch Report Update", and
one request to post it to the whole list.
the reason i did not do so originally was that all the information in it is
available on SunSolve. The only unique part of this report was the list of
patches marked mandatory, which according to Sun are *not* mandatory, but
should only be installed if the specific problem occurs. Each one is
available separately from SunSolve Online.
Still there is clearly strong interest here, so the patch report is included
below. Apologies in advance to the Sun engineers who will doubtless receive
hundreds more phone calls now relating to this...
