8mm vs. 4mm

If you mean the HP35480A, yes the blurb says 8G on a 90M tape. However

in all my use of daily backups using dump(1) for the last year, I've never

managed to fit more than about 3.6Gb. Typically its 3.3Gb.

This using a block size of 200k bytes.
