2nd question - Solaris8-GCC 3.0.3 compiler

Hi
Thanks to Darren, Michel, Kris, Tim, Hocke, Evans,
Randy, Daniel, Stace, Alex, Mark

Everybody pointed towards installing binutil package
to solve the problem.

1. Also some advised to use 2.95.3 on PRODUCTION
server, & though this is going to be PRODUCTION
server, should I go for gcc 2.95.3 ?
2. Also Darren says, if on doesn't need 64 bit
structure, use 2.95.3 ? what does it mean ?
gcc-2.95.3 will not support 64-Bit structure ?
3. Should I go for gcc 3.x, to take 64_bit structure
even on Production Server ?

Can you please clarify this .

TIA
