My utmost request to all the sun admins, I want to know can I create a dump
device on a seperate disk which is not a root disk, is it fine with the
system. As in out setup throughout dump device is not the part of volume
manager(Veritas), In one system its needed to be created and space is not
there in rootdg(root disk group), can some body please explain exact
functionality and configuration of dump device, and what is best practise.
