Dear Manager,

I have a Ultra 1 machine with UltraSPARC 143MHz processor, and want to
install Solaris 2.8 on it. Here are my questions:

1. is the processor a SPARC V9 64-bit UltraSPARC processor? How can find it
out?
2. I installed 32 bits Solaris 2.8 on it because the firmware was 3.1.1. Now
I updated the firmware to 3.25.0 and want to use 64bits Solaris 2.8. Do I
need to reinstall from the scratch?

Thanks.
